Na Hoku nominated vocalist Lou Ann Gurney is backed by the Big Island's finest: Gary Washburn on piano, Bill Noble on sax and flute, Brian McCree on bass and Bruce David on drums. Together they deliver a mix of vintage jazz, ballads, torch songs, swing and Latin grooves peppered with a dash of boogie woogie and jump blues. Jazz Mele promises an evening that flows from mellow listening to swing and ballroom dancing.
