Keaiwa hails from the South side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Big D and Leka G of the band Ka'u with Geneboy of the band Jus Us wanted to create a band that could immerse itself into a diverse genre of music, remaining true to Ka'u, yet adding a different feel and flavor for their audience with Keaiwa.
